I’ve just received the 8” headlamps with the biflex reflectors and must say that I’m glad you suggested that solution rather than the tripod ones I suggested ­ the look is just right for me . I have also scrutinized the lamps pretty closely as you might imagine and find them to be wonderful examples of careful craftsmanship. It is rather cheering in this age of diminishing English industrial production that such quality work still goes on. My little Wolseley will never have had such a splendid pair of lamps and though she is 74 already I have no doubt that these artifacts will be guiding her path in another hundred years. I went to Vintage Headlamp Restoration because I was having difficulty finding an original gift for my car obsessed boyfriend - they couldn't have been more helpful and offered to turn one of their replica vintage headlamps into a freestanding lamp for me. The speed of their service was fantastic and the lamp was delivered within a couple of weeks. The level of workmanship is excellent and the result is a truly original product that not only looks great but which you're unlikely to find in anyone else's house!
